Tras el anuncio del esperado teléfono móvil de Google, Android G1, sale a relucir Kogan Agora, el segundo teléfono móvil comercial que oficialmente usará el sistema operativo Android. Este modelo estará disponible en Australia el 29 de enero de 2009.
Como se vé en la imagen, cuenta con un estilo bien parecido al Blackjack de Samsung, tiene teclado full-QWERTY, pantalla touchscreen de 2.5 pulgadas, GPS, WiFi y 3G. Además cuenta con un procesador de 624MHz, memoria ROM de 256MB y RAM de 128 MB, capacidad para microSD y cámara de 2mp.
A diferencia de los teléfonos vendidos en este lado del mundo, Kogan venderá el móvil a un precio razonable (unlocked por 399 dólares australianos -$256- o una versión económica sin WiFi, camara o GPS por 299 dólares australianos -$192-), y aceptando ordenes desde ya… a nivel mundial.

KOGAN UNVEILS ‘AGORA’
FIRST AUSSIE PHONE POWERED BY ANDROID™MELBOURNE, Thursday 4th December 2008 – Kogan Technologies today unveiled the Kogan Agora, the first Australian mobile phone powered by the Android™ operating system.
Kogan Technologies will sell the Agora for AU$299 and the Agora Pro for AU$399. Both models are available for sale today on www.kogan.com.au. The phones are sold outright – with no contract – and will work on any network.
The Kogan Agora (AU$299) features a full QWERTY keyboard, central navigation key, 2.5” touchscreen, microSD slot, and 3G connectivity.
The Kogan Agora Pro (AU$399) adds a 2 MP camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS to the Agora’s impressive specifications.
Both models will ship to customers – in Australia and internationally – on January 29th 2009.
